ugh, i remember getting shit on by OTHER FILIPINO KIDS (i see u, u know who u are) in elementary after moving to canada 9 years ago for speaking to them in tagalog and being a ‘fob’

now i can barely speak tagalog and get compliments from ppl for not having a filipino accent… like i’m supposed to be proud of that???
